In Council Bluffs, we had the privilege of speaking with Reva and Ingrid Evans Olson–whom you might remember were plaintiffs in Iowa’s marriage lawsuit that paved the way for marriage equality in Iowa.
During our chat, Ingrid didn’t mince words when asked her views of the National Organization for Marriage. They should just “go home.”
A second couple Mike Howell and Hersh Rodasky–together for 29 years and married in Iowa–agreed. “These people from out of state need to leave us alone.”

Thank you for posting this.
And for everyone else, make sure you click through to the second video (Part 2). The statements of Asher Brown's parents need to be heard by everyone. Although with this group here, they're preaching to the choir.

Yeah, saw his interview on Anderson Cooper. He looked shocked and was sort of at a loss for words. His words really came back to bite him in the ass and Anderson nailed him on several questions. So yes, he'll be resigning.
His apology seemed heartfelt at times, but behind it he still is standing by his 'christian beliefs' – which basically says to me that he's not changing his mind about gay people being wrong somehow. Bullying is wrong because he just got a big dosage of it, but gay people are still not good according to his 'beliefs'.
The family of Asher Brown was on after him, they too are Christian and are promising to pray for him even though he made those awful comments. Those are what Christians are supposed to be like, forgiving, nurturing, and accepting. Clint McCance still doesn't understand that.

And he thinks We are sub-human.
I don't know how he lives with himself. I truly don't.
But hey, at least we ain't him!

Oh Porno Pete's views are so predictable, I do not even bother reading his ignorant crap anymore.
Remember, he has a pro-hate business to feed…

But NOM will not stop until they are legally shut down, or until their contributors realize what they are contributing to and stop contributing. Until the sheeple who are funding NOM wake up and smell the coffee, NOM will continue to miseducate, misinform, mistranslate, misinterpret, and in other ways just outright lie so that they can fuel the fear and keep the money rolling in. After all, Brian has a mortgage to pay off, and six children to put through college.

They don't all have to go. At least one of them is likely to be gay, and he probably won't want to pay the way for that one.

Rhie | October 29, 2010 at 6:25 am
Good! Yes they need to go away. From every state.

Go away like Michael made things go away in "Stranger from a Strange Land"
