– Watch EqualityOnTrial’s own Adam Bink and Jacob Combs discuss Prop 8 at the Supreme Court in a segment yesterday on Huffington Post Live
– Patrick Murphy discussed how DOMA hurts military families on MSNBC.
– The Cato Institute, a libertarian think-tank, in a blog post on Cato.org calls attention to a brief filed by federalism scholars (not associated with the brief Cato itself filed) which suggests Section 3 of DOMA can be struck down on federalism grounds. That brief is here. h/t Kathleen
– While the Supreme Court has granted a request for a longer argument time in the DOMA case (110 minutes instead of the usual 60) we are still waiting on the Court to act on the Solicitor General’s request for time to argue in the Prop 8 case.
– The United States Senate confirmed the first gay Asian American woman to the federal court bench yesterday.
