– The Senate Judiciary hearings on the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will begin on March 21, according to reports. SCOTUSBlog also reports that she has already submitted her questionnaire. (Also, here are attachments to the questionnaire.)

– Lambda Legal, the American Civil Liberties Union, and ACLU of Texas filed a lawsuit officials in Texas state court to end the state’s investigations of medically necessary gender-related treatment for kids who are transgender. The filing is here.

– Last night in his state of the union address, President Biden asked again for Congress to pass the Equality Act, and he mentioned Florida’s Don’t Say Gay bill: ““The onslaught of state laws targeting transgender Americans and their families is wrong,” Biden said. “As I said last year, especially to our younger transgender Americans, I will always have your back as your president, so you can be yourself and reach your God-given potential.””
